Proficiency award- For the student who has completed the programme in the previous year and secured the first rank in each course
Best outgoing student award-For the best outgoing final year student in each programme
Koorathalwar award- Instituted in the year 1956-57 by 1955 batch students of PSG CT (first batch) in memory of their classmate Mr. S. Koorathalwar for awarding to the best outgoing student among B.E /B.Tech final year students
Precitex award- Instituted in the year 1979 for the meritorious student in the subject,"Spinning"
B.Tech alumni award- Instituted in the year 1985 by Thiru. D.Lakshminarayanasamy, Coimbatore, alumnus of PSGCT (1972 batch) for the best outgoing student in the final year B.Tech.
Ellappa Naicker memorial award (Silver Medal)- Instituted in the year 1994 by Dr.E.Balagurusamy, Coimbatore, alumnus and former director of PSG IM, for best outgoing student of college and polytechnic college
K. Sivagnanam endowment award- Instituted in the year 1997 by Ms. S.Kavitha, alumnus of PSG Tech, for the outgoing blood donor
M.D. Mangalakaran endowment award- Instituted in the year 1998 by Thiru. P.R.Damodharan and well-wishers, Coimbatore, in honour of Thiru. M.D. Mangalakaran, alumnus(1959 batch), and former faculty of Mechanical Engineering, for best vocalist and instrumentalist
P.V.Narayana Iyer memorial award- Instituted in the year 1999 by Thiru. P.N.Gopal, Coimbatore for outgoing and deserving students of PSG CT.
Periyakulam Annamayil Kamaraj award- Instituted in the year 1999 by Thiru. K.Gandhimani, alumnus and former faculty of PSG Tech, for the purchase of books to awardees on Tech Day.
Silver68 Scholarships- Instituted by Silver 68+ Golden jubilee celebration of PSG College of Technology in the year 2002 to help poor students to study in PSG Tech .
Chennai METCO-RODRIGUEZ award- Instituted in the year 2010 by C.Renganathan, CEO, Chennai METCO Pvt. Ltd. For outgoing student with excellent communication skills and leadership qualities
