The Department of Biomedical Engineering works at the confluence of engineering and biology to provide effective solutions to biological, medical and healthcare problems. The goal is to better understand, replace, or fix a target system to ultimately improve the quality of healthcare by the developing mathematical theories, physical, biological and chemical principles, computational models and algorithms, devices and systems for clinical, therapeutics and diagnostics.
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering offers an undergraduate program B.E. (CSE) and two post-graduate programs: M.E. (CSE) and M.E. (Software Engg). Computer Science & Engineering involves the design and understanding of computational process and programming languages. To develop high quality Computer Science and Engineering graduates with technical and professional skills to solve real world problems with emerging technologies has always been a mission of this department.
Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) was established to facilitate young engineers to acquire technical exposure in the areas of Electronics and Communication Engineering, nurture career improvement and develop human and social intellectual qualities. The department furnishes the students with technical knowledge, creativity, and soft skills that make them inimitable engineers. With the modern world gradually moving towards technology-driven operations, the amalgamation of electronics and communication has a great advantage.
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) works on the domains of both electrical and electronics and to equip the students with knowledge and practical experiences to make them outstanding engineers for the future industrial development. It also works at the forefront of practical technology, improving the devices and systems we use every day. From solar energy to mobile phones, the field is to innovate new ideas to face society’s communication, tech and energy needs.
The Department of Instrumentation and Control Systems Engineering was established having in mind the growing need for enhanced control systems in various levels of industry. The Vision of the Department is to fulfill the challenging needs of technical excellence in all areas of Instrumentation and Control. A perfect blend of industrial exposure, coupled with good technical skillset of the field will make the engineer's presence valuable in various domains in all the top-level industries.
Information Technology helps to build and grow the commerce and business sector and generate maximum possible through the use of computers to create, process, store, retrieve, and exchange all kinds of electronic data and information. This Department offers an excellent atmosphere for students to learn and acquire the necessary skills demanded by the industry. B.Tech (IT), M.Tech (IT) and M.E. (BCS) are undergraduate and postgraduate programs provided by this department.
The Department of Production Engineering was started in the year 1975. The Production Engineering department offers consultancy in manufacturing processes, design, and testing of a wide range of products, including product styling. Through industrial training and innovative planning, this department ensures that students are equipped with the skills that they require to get them ready to face the real world.
The Department of Robotics and Automation Engineering was established to meet the growing demand for trained engineers in the field of Industrial Automation. Automation Engineering is a cross-sectional discipline that requires sound, proportional knowledge in hardware as well as software development and their applications. The vision of building robots to coexist with the human workforce and enhance efficiency is what drives the department more towards the future for the best.
