The GRD Memorial Library of PSG College of Technology has a total collection of 2,50,050 books and other reading materials. As many as 5,122 books and 258 journals were procured in the library during 2018-2019.
During the academic year 2018 – 19, a sum of Rs. 1,65,61,218/- was disbursed as Scholarship from Central / State Government and other agencies and the same was disbursed to 1596 students of Under Graduate and Post Graduate.
The overall student strength of the college stands at 8600+ which includes 5400+ boy students and 3200+ girl students and 370+ research scholars in Ph.D programmes in various discipline.

Angarai Ganesan Ramakrishnan is a Professor of Electrical Engineering at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India, currently, he heads the Medical intelligence and language engineering lab. Madhu Bhaskaran is an engineer and Professor at RMIT University. She co-leads the Functional Materials and Microsystems Research Group at RMIT University. She won the APEC Aspire prize in 2018 for her development of "electronic skin". She is alumnus of PSG TECH.
